The goal of today’s training is not only about pacing but transitions. Some of the hardest parts of HYROX are getting into and out of the ROX zone where you will find yourself wanting to slow down and walk to your station then not getting back up to speed as you move into the second run.
The longer run being second is purposeful as the larger amount of reps is first.
