Getting Started
Absolutely not — and this is the question we hear most often. Every single person who walks through our doors started exactly where you are right now. CrossFit is infinitely scalable, which means every movement, every weight, and every workout is adjusted to match your current fitness level. Whether you haven’t exercised in years or you’re already active in other ways, we’ll meet you where you are and build from there. You don’t need to ‘get fit’ before you start — that’s what we’re here for.
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program built around constantly varied, functional movements performed at a relative intensity. In plain terms: each day brings a different workout — you’ll lift, run, row, jump, push, and pull — and everything is scaled to your ability. The goal isn’t to look like an athlete on a poster. It’s to make you genuinely capable and healthy in everyday life. At The Strip CrossFit, we focus on structured programming, real coaching, and a community that keeps you coming back.
Expect to be welcomed, not thrown into the deep end. When you arrive for your first class, one of our coaches will introduce themselves, walk you through the space, and take time to learn about your background, any injuries, and your goals. The class itself follows a consistent structure: a warm-up, skill or strength work, and a workout of the day (WOD). Your coach will show you modified versions of every movement so you always have a safe, effective option. Most new members tell us their biggest regret was waiting so long to start.
We recommend new members start with a brief intro session or our on-ramp process so you feel confident before jumping into group classes. This isn’t a barrier — it’s a gift to yourself. Learning the foundational movements with dedicated coaching attention means you’ll progress faster, stay safer, and enjoy classes so much more from day one. Classes & Schedule
Every class is 60 minutes and coach-led from start to finish. You’ll move through: a warm-up to prepare your body, a skill or strength segment where you’ll build technique and capacity, and the WOD (Workout of the Day) — the main event. Classes wrap up with a cool-down and time to connect with the people around you. No class is ever exactly the same, which is what keeps it engaging long-term.
For most beginners, 2–3 classes per week is the sweet spot. It gives your body time to adapt and recover while still building momentum. As you get more comfortable and your fitness improves, many members move to 4–5 days. There’s no rush — consistent effort over time beats burning out in the first month. Our coaches will help you find a sustainable rhythm.
We offer classes throughout the day, including early morning, midday, and evening options to fit different schedules. The best way to see live availability and book your spot is through our member app or by reaching out to us directly. We’re located at 4325 Dean Martin Dr, Suite 315, Las Vegas, NV.
Yes — all of our classes are group classes, and that’s one of the things that makes CrossFit so effective. But ‘group’ doesn’t mean everyone does the same thing. Your coach scales every workout to your individual level. You’ll be working alongside others, which provides real energy and accountability, but the weights, movements, and timing are always calibrated to you. Think of it as personal training energy inside a team environment.
Membership & Pricing
Our standard membership is $150/month, which gives you unlimited access to all group classes. We think that’s exceptional value when you consider what you’re getting: expert coaching at every session, structured programming, a community, and a facility built for results. Many members find they eliminate other gym memberships, personal training costs, and fitness apps once they start here.
We believe in earning your membership every month — not locking you in. Our memberships are month-to-month, and we’re upfront about all billing terms before you sign anything. We’re confident that once you experience what we do here, you’ll want to stay. We just don’t think you should have to.

We appreciate the service of military members, veterans, and first responders. Contact us directly to ask about current discount options — we handle these on a personal basis to make sure we’re honoring service members properly.
What to Wear & Bring
Wear whatever you’d be comfortable moving, lifting, and sweating in. Athletic shorts or pants, a tshirt or tank, and athletic shoes work perfectly. One tip: avoid very cushioned running shoes — a flatter sole (cross-trainers, training shoes, or weightlifting shoes) gives you much better stability during strength work. Beyond that, just show up in something you can move freely in.
A water bottle, athletic shoes, and a willingness to be a beginner — that last one matters most. We have everything else you’ll need. Many members bring their own workout gloves or lifting grips once they get into it, but nothing extra is required to start.

Health & Fitness
This is a fair concern, and we take it seriously. Like any physical training program, CrossFit carries some risk — but injury risk is dramatically reduced when you have proper coaching, appropriate scaling, and smart programming. At The Strip CrossFit, our coaches are trained to prioritize technique before intensity, to scale movements to your ability, and to progress you at a rate that respects your body. The goal is to build you up — not break you down.
In many cases, yes — and we encourage you to talk to us about it before your first class. Our coaches are experienced at modifying workouts around injuries, chronic conditions, and physical limitations. Please also consult with your physician if you have any medical concerns. The more we know about your body upfront, the better we can coach you safely and effectively.
This is the most common fear people have — and we promise you, it’s unfounded. No one is watching you to judge you. Every person in that gym has been where you are. The community at The Strip CrossFit is one of the most welcoming, encouraging groups you’ll find anywhere. People here cheer for the last person to finish just as loudly as the first. Show up, do your best, and you will fit right in.
Most members notice real changes — more energy, better sleep, improved strength — within the first 4–6 weeks of consistent training. Visible physical changes typically follow in 2–3 months. The key word is consistent. CrossFit rewards showing up. The more regularly you train, the faster and more meaningful your results will be. Our coaches and community are here to keep you accountable along the way.
